The Parents–Teachers Meet 2026 was organised at Trinity Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Udyavara with the aim of strengthening the relationship between parents and teachers and highlighting their shared responsibility in the academic progress and holistic development of students. The programme was compered by Junior Training Officers (JTOs) Mrs. Maria D’Souza and Mr. Ashwath Poojary. The event began with a fun game conducted by JTO Mr. Cyril Soans, through which a lucky parent was selected. The dignitaries were then escorted to the dais, followed by a prayer led by the JTOs. JTO Mr. Prasanna Kumar delivered the welcome address. The programme was inaugurated jointly by Mr. John G. M. D’Souza, Founder and Principal of Trinity ITI, and the dignitaries. The Principal then delivered the inaugural address. JTO Mr. Pradeep introduced the resource person, Mr. Leslie Aroza, Director of the Family Commission, Udupi Diocese. Mr. Aroza, in his keynote address, spoke on the topic “Role of Parents in Children’s Development and Importance of Parent-Teacher Cooperation for a Successful Future.” A question-and-answer session was also held. Trade-wise lucky-parent selections were conducted by the respective JTOs, followed by distribution of prizes. A memento was presented to Mr. Leslie Aroza as a token of appreciation. JTO Mr. Sujith proposed the vote of thanks.
